Job Title: ICT Asset Co-Coordinator (Band 4)
The Scottish Ambulance Service provides scheduled and unscheduled ambulance services across Scotland. The Service makes extensive use of cab-based technology to support efficient and effective service delivery. It has a fleet of over 1400 vehicles, most equipped with ICT equipment such as cab-based terminals, Airwave terminals, and mobile data equipment.
We are seeking an ICT Asset Co-Coordinator to work within the Service ICT Department. The responsibilities include recording, reporting, auditing, and verifying assets against the Asset Databases. The post holder will ensure compliance with asset database requirements related to the TEA2 license for Airwave Assets, coordinate the Airwave Terminal Audit, and assist the In Cab Technician in liaising with internal and external departments regarding asset issues.
Applicants must hold a current driving license; possession of groups C1 and D1 is advantageous. Knowledge of the Airwave Radio Service and Cab Base Terminals is highly desirable.
