Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. working 3 days a week 8.00am to 5.30pm, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing excellent customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and maintaining a welcoming environment for our patients.
Duties
* Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
* Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
* Manage patient records accurately, including updating personal information and treatment histories.
* Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and care.
* Process payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently.
* Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible.
* Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the practice.
* Assist with other administrative tasks as required to support the team.
Skills
* Previous office experience is essential, preferably in a dental setting.
* Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
* Proficient in using office equipment and software applications relevant to dental practice management.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanour.
