Your new role
As a Commercial Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting a fast-growing business unit, providing commercially focused legal advice across a variety of matters.
Your responsibilities will include:

* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including technology, licencing and partner contracts
\t
* Advising on legal risk and providing pragmatic solutions to support business objectives
\t
* Working closely with stakeholders across the UK, Europe and North America
\t
* Supporting strategic growth projects, including integration work following acquisitions
\t
* Contributing to improvements in contract processes and legal operations
\t
* Collaborating with a global legal team on wider initiatives and projects
This is a dynamic, fast-paced role offering excellent exposure to cross-border work and the opportunity to develop within a supportive legal function.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified solicitor with approximately 0-3 years' PQE (guideline only), with a preference for candidates who trained and qualified within a law firm environmentStrong grounding in commercial contract law
Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
Ability to provide clear, practical legal advice to non-legal stakeholders
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
Experience with data protection and/or intellectual property
