Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal operation and customer satisfaction. Duties
* Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment using hand tools and power tools
* Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions promptly
* Assist with installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery or systems
* Perform heavy lifting as required to move or position equipment safely
* Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, and repairs performed
* Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients
* Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
* Troubleshoot technical problems on-site or remotely as needed
Qualifications
* Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment maintenance or repair
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
* Experience in maintenance work within industrial or commercial environments is desirable
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
* Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly
* Organised with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Previous experience working with technical systems or machinery is advantageous
* A valid driving licence is preferred, as some travel may be required
