Job Details Reporting to the Head of Higher Education and working closely with the HE Partnership Coordinator, this pivotal role focuses on designing and delivering a student-centred success strategy that enhances engagement, belonging, and achievement. You'll support students across the full lifecycle-from pre-arrival and induction to progression and retention-ensuring timely and targeted interventions that make a real impact. Duties & Responsibilities Design and deliver induction, transition, and engagement activities to enhance student experience and retention. Implement and evaluate a student success framework aligned with USP learner needs. Identify and support students at risk of disengagement, in collaboration with curriculum and student services teams. Deliver personalised support and group sessions, including online drop-ins. Monitor student data and engagement indicators to inform targeted interventions. Provide guidance across the student journey, including mitigating circumstances and academic planning. Support specific student groups through tailored engagement strategies. Contribute to progression planning, careers advice, and wellbeing initiatives. Job Requirements: Essential: Educated to degree level Experience in an education setting Strong understanding of inclusion, safeguarding, and learner development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to use data to evaluate impact and improve services Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data systems Desirable: First Aid, Mentoring, or Counselling qualifications Experience running evidence-based student support programmes Prior work in a similar HE student success or support role The right candidate will have: High standards of communication and interpersonal skills.
