Job Title: Senior Floor Manager (Reporting to General Manager)
Location: Josh Wood Colour Atelier, West London (due to the client facing nature of this role remote working is not available for this position).
Hours: Role requires a shift pattern with starting times from 8am and closing times up to 7pm. Rota will include two Saturdays per month (where a Saturday is worked days off will be Sunday and Monday).

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Floor Manager to oversee the daily operations and ensure the smooth running of front of house, retail, kitchen and the colour floor. This role will require a proactive individual who can manage bookings, supervise the support team, coordinate the merchandising of high-end products and support the General Manager with the overall operational tasks of the day-to-day salon tasks.. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a seamless client experience, and supporting the salons team in delivering the highest standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team:
o Supervise and support salon assistants, baristas, and front-of-house team to ensure smooth daily operations.
o Maintain a positive and efficient working environment, providing leadership and guidance to team members.
o Ensure that staff adhere to salon policies and procedures, promoting professionalism at all times.
o Lead support team pre shift stand up meetings.
o Address team issues and resolve conflict effectively.
* Merchandising & Product Management:
o Oversee the display and merchandising of haircare and beauty products in the salon, ensuring products are well presented and stocked.
o Promote the sale of products to clients, providing knowledge of the benefits and uses of each item.
o Collaborate with management to ensure an exceptional range of products is available and aligned with customer preferences.
* Front Of House:
o Ensure front of house experience is exceptional for both clients and operatives (including clienteling, client experience and column optimisation).
o Ensuring the Front of House team presentation meets expected standards.
o Provide training to the Front of House team on new products and introduce retail offers.
* Client Relations & Customer Experience:
o Greet clients upon arrival, creating a welcoming and professional first impression.
o Provide a high standard of customer service, addressing client needs and concerns in a friendly and efficient manner.
o Handle client feedback, resolving any issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
o Lead on improvements to end to end customer journey, including new client consultations.
o Daily presence in the Atelier to create and maintain a brilliant culture and atmosphere on the floor, acting as a brand ambassador, instilling best practices and leading by example.
* Operational Support:
o Ensure the salon floor is kept tidy, organised, and visually appealing at all times.
o Manage inventory, ensuring sufficient stock levels for services and retail products.
o Assist with administrative duties, including maintaining records and assisting with staff rotas.
o Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
o Supporting the operatives and responding to their requests to provide the best possible outcomes.
* Barista Supervision:
o Oversee the barista station, ensuring that coffee and beverage services are up to standard and efficiently managed.
o Ensure that the barista staff delivers high-quality drinks and maintains a clean and professional service station.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years experience in a managerial role within a high-end salon environment.
* Supporting the General Manager is key to this role and therefore the candidate must be comfortable with flexibility and willingness to adapt working hours as required by business needs.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
* Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering a premium client experience.
* Knowledge of haircare and beauty products is a plus, though training will be provided.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and stay calm under pressure.
* Experience in managing bookings and handling reservations systems.
* Strong attention to detail.

* Knowledge of POS and booking systems.
