To support and assist the Health and Safety Manager in the implementation of the health and safety agenda across the organisation and to provide advice, training, and support to all staff on health and safety related matters.
Main duties of the job
• To advise managers and all staff groups on health and safety legislation
• To provide specialist advice and support to the Trust Health and Safety Committee
• To help coordinate visits from the HSE
• To advise, assist and train staff throughout the Trust
• To help, produce, and implement the health and safety audit programme.
• To help maintain the health and safety database for the Trust.
To review all health and safety incidents, accidents and dangerous occurrences

PPE requirements: Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust requires all colleagues to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with our infection prevention and control procedures.
