Join our specialist support worker team - £14.50 to £20.25 per hour
Are you experienced in supporting children or young people in crisis? Passionate about aiding vulnerable youth in our community? Looking to expand your career?
We're seeking dedicated support workers committed to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people in care. You'll join specialist teams providing high-level support, creating safe environments, and understanding the impact of trauma on behaviour and communication.

As part of a specialist team, you can expect to:
7. Dedicate your skills to supporting a child or young person
8. Provide day-to-day support including activities and appointments
9. Engage and encourage participation while maintaining structure
10. Provide accurate reports for care plans and goals
11. Ensure the safety and well being of children and young people
Requirements:
12. minimum of 6 months experience in childrens residential settings
13. Confidence in de-escalation techniques
14. Ability to make decisions in challenging situations
15. Strong communication and judgement skills
16. Commitment to the team and support required
17. Non-judgmental and resilient attitude
18. Experience with de-escalation
Skills and training required:
19. Driver's license and business insurance preferred
20. DBS on update service or willingness to apply
21. Registration with relevant regulatory body
22. PMVA training preferred or willingness to undergo training
23. Registered with Social Care Wales- or willing to.
