Heavy Plant Fitter – Infrastructure Projects (Northern England)
About the Role
Join a leading civil engineering company maintaining and repairing heavy plant and machinery across major infrastructure projects. You'll ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and ready to perform on demanding sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Service and repair a range of plant machinery (excavators, dumpers, telehandlers)
* Carry out fault diagnostics and preventative maintenance
* Work closely with site teams to minimise downtime
Key Requirements
o Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
o Strong hydraulic and diesel engine knowledge
o Valid driving licence and CSCS (or equivalent) preferred
