Role overview
The Social & Content Marketing Executive is a key member of the St Michaels marketing team, responsible for planning, producing and publishing high-quality digital content across owned and paid channels. This is a hands-on content creation role, focused on delivering engaging digital output within the framework of the resort's marketing strategy.
The role will lead in content creation for the whole resort (covering Rooms, Food & Beverage, Meetings & Events, Health Club & Spa), producing engaging campaigns that increase engagement, grow audiences and support revenue generation across all markets.
You'll work closely with designers, the wider marketing team and our PR agency to deliver coordinated campaigns, with scope to bring your own creative ideas to life while working to agreed brand and campaign objectives.

Duties and responsibilities
Social Media
* Own and grow the St Michaels social media channels, planning and delivering content that plugs into the marketing strategy and drives clear digital growth
* Deliver content that closely matches our brand identity, audience personas and tone of voice
* Produce a monthly report on organic social media
* Monitor social media daily, ensuring timely responses and appropriate signposting
* Research and keep on top of the latest social trends, providing ideas and opportunities to grow audiences
Content
* Champion the creation of new image and video content, working with third parties when relevant to deliver a continuous programme of new content
* Support digital and print campaigns by curating standout imagery and video content
* Provide copywriting support to cover the website and print articles
PR & Influencers
* Research and lead on influencer visits alongside the St Michaels PR agency, ensuring influencers are in line with brand identity and audience profiles
* Work closely with our PR agency to deliver a year-round calendar of influencer and media stays in line with our PR strategy
Professional attributes, skills and experience
* A passion for content creation and photography
* Social media expertise and knowledge of best practices and latest trends
* A flair for video production and editing (particularly short-form) is highly valued
* Good organisation and time management skills
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
* Display initiative, an eye for detail and effective research skills
* Be a team player, resourceful, flexible and responsive in dealing with people
* Able to work under pressure to short deadlines
* Experience within the hospitality industry is an advantage, but not critical
* Photography, videography and editing skills essential
* A live portfolio showcasing your creative work is preferred
* It is a requirement to provide at least one example of content (video, reel, photo set or captioned post) with your application
* Knowledge of podcasting or an interest in exploring this medium
* Previous marketing experience is desirable, but not essential. A passion for creating amazing and engaging social content is a must

* Hours: 8-hour shifts, typically Monday to Friday. Some weekend or out-of-hours work will be required as part of weekly hours, not additional
