We are currently recruiting a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a school based in Morpeth, Northumberland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring, committed individual who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them succeed both academically and emotionally.
Working Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 8:40am – 3:40pm
Friday: 8:40am – 2:40pm
The Role:
Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs on a one-to-one or small group basis
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
Working closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and other professionals
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential)
Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
Hold a valid DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
