Employment Associate – Norwich

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join a highly respected, top-ranked employment team based in Norwich.
This is a chance to become part of a nationally recognised firm known for its outstanding work in the education and charity sectors. Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a talented Solicitor to support its expanding client base and contribute to the team’s ongoing success.

The Role:
You will handle a diverse caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, primarily advising clients in the higher education and charity sectors. The work is intellectually stimulating, often involving complex legal issues within large institutions operating in a dynamic national and geopolitical context.

Key responsibilities include:


* Advising on a wide range of employment law matters
* Managing Employment Tribunal litigation
* Delivering training, seminars and legal updates to clients
* Supporting business development initiatives
* Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers


What We’re Looking For:


* Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years PQE in employment law
* Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
* Experience managing Employment Tribunal cases
* Excellent drafting, presentation and client relationship skills
* Ability to lead on matters with appropriate supervision
* Interest in delivering client training and contributing to business development


Desirable Experience:


* Advising large employers or public sector clients
* Advocacy experience
* Previous exposure to the education or charity sectors (not essential – training provided)
