In November 2023, CoinDesk was acquired by the Bullish group, owner of Bullish, a regulated digital assets exchange. CoinDesk operates as an independent subsidiary with an editorial committee to protect journalistic independence.
Role & Responsibilities
* Run and oversee validation models
* Perform index reconstitutions using python and other tools
* Prepare and distribute index announcements
* Set-up and test new indices and reference rates
* Test and deploy updates to models
* Address client inquiries
* Troubleshoot and escalate issues
* Create and maintain documentation for operational processes and controls
* Identify and recommend improvements to processes
* Review and update index methodologies
* Collaborate with analysts to ensure coverage and tasks are complete
* Work with engineers on defining technical requirements and testing releases
Requirements
* 2+ years of experience as a quantitative developer
* Good Excel and Python skills
* Good knowledge of maths and statistics
* Experience working with time series data
* Experience working with large datasets
* Knowledge of financial markets and derivatives
* Analytical skills, attention to detail
* Knowledge of API, streaming data is a plus
