Role Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for supporting and improving manufacturing operations for our products. The role will provide technical expertise, develop, improve and maintain systems, processes, procedures and process controls. It involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support new product introduction and continuous improvement initiatives, as well as troubleshooting manufacturing issues and implementing lean and cost-reduction projects. The Manufacturing Engineer will also help ensure compliance with relevant standards and support training for production team members on new or updated processes.
Qualifications
* Strong foundation in Manufacturing Engineering, designing, analysing and improving manufacturing systems and processes
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
* Lean / Six Sigma qualification and familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis tools
* Proven track record of delivering change initiatives and continuous improvement projects within a fast paced, demanding manufacturing environment
* Ability to understand customer needs and develop interventions to fulfil requirements
* Experience with process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures in a manufacturing environment.
