Embalmer
£37,264 per annum (£19.11 per hour) plus benefits
Full-time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Locations: Poole, Dorset and Fareham, Hampshire
Applicants must be an existing qualified Embalmer with British Institute of Embalmers (BIE) membership

What you’ll do
* Provide an empathetic and personal service to clients from diverse backgrounds and religions
* Prepare the deceased and perform practical physical assessments daily
* Support colleagues in understanding the benefits of embalming
* Maintain high standards, attention to detail, and accuracy in all tasks
* Act as a trusted ambassador for Co-op within the community, building strong relationships
This role would suit someone who has
* A BIE (British Institute of Embalmers) qualification or equivalent
* A practical, can-do attitude and flexible approach
* A caring nature and emotional maturity
* The ability to think quickly and prioritize effectively
* An understanding that delivering a perfect final tribute is crucial
