Home Manager – Nursing Home

£60,000 per annum + £11,500 Bonus (OTE £71,500)
We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, family-run care provider for an experienced and dedicated Home Manager to lead a well-established, medium-sized nursing home in Birmingham with a Good CQC rating.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive organisation with strong on-site and head office support, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care and leading your team effectively.
The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will take full responsibility for the safe, effective and compliant day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred nursing care.
You will be a hands-on and visible leader, driving performance, developing your team and maintaining strong quality and occupancy levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading the delivery of high-quality, person-centred nursing care
* Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation
* Overseeing care planning, medication management and clinical standards
* Managing staffing levels, rotas and agency usage effectively
* Driving occupancy and overseeing resident assessments
* Maintaining strong relationships with families, professionals and stakeholders
* Embedding robust safeguarding, quality assurance and health & safety systems
* Recruiting, developing and performance-managing a high-performing team
About You
* Proven experience as a Home Manager within a nursing home setting
* Registered Manager status (or eligibility to register)
* Strong track record of achieving and maintaining Good CQC ratings
* In-depth knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding and clinical compliance
* Commercial awareness with experience managing occupancy and staffing costs
* Resilient, adaptable and hands-on leadership style
* Passionate about developing teams and delivering high standards of care
