We have a fantastic opportunity for a Facilities Team Leader to join our National Highways England account based at Amey, Cathedral Square, Building 1000, Ground Floor, Cathedral Hill, Surrey Way, Guildford GU2 7YL – this role is based on site.
Salary: £15.61 per hour.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Amey provides comprehensive facilities and estate management services for National Highways, including maintenance, cleaning, and project management. We collaborate with clients, staff, and partners to ensure our 24/7 service maintains high standards with minimal disruption, keeping one of Europe's busiest road networks safe and operational.
What you will do:
* Lead on the day-to-day running of the site.
* Lead and motivate a team of staff to ensure they provide the best customer service.
* Comply with all health & safety legislations.
* Building and ground maintenance.
* Ensure high quality of daily reception and front-of-house services.
* Ensure premises are maintained in a safe and secure manner.
* Provide general security services, including management of CCTV and alarm systems.
* React to and execute immediately any general repairs and maintenance duties as required.
* Support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as appropriate.
* Ensure H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
