About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a driven and highly capable
Assistant Manager
to support the Account Manager on a large-scale, high-profile contract for a prestigious client in the
education sector
. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team delivering first class
soft services
across multiple sites in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

The ideal candidate will have a
background within
soft services
and thrive in a client facing setting. You'll play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of services, ensuring high standards are maintained while supporting the Account Manager with both operational and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the Account Manager with daily operational delivery across multiple sites
* Assist with site audits, performance monitoring, and compliance requirements
* Conduct and document toolbox talks and team briefings with the soft services team
* Maintain and update site documentation and ensure contract compliance
* Liaise confidently with the client and build positive relationships at all levels
* Lead by example and help manage site-based teams to deliver consistent service excellence
* Use IT systems effectively to manage reports, schedules, and communications
* Proactively identify and resolve issues, escalating where necessary
* Assist in the preparation of staffing rosters, service reports, and operational planning

Requirements

* Proven background in soft services (cleaning) operations
* Experience managing or supervising teams across multiple sites
* Confident in a client facing role, ideally within blue-chip or corporate environments
* Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Ability to work at pace, manage competing priorities, and remain calm under pressure
* A hands-on, passionate approach with a genuine desire to deliver high service standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
