Position Overview
Personal Assistant to support a 10‑year‑old boy in the St Eval/Wadebridge area.
* Provide 1:1 support to a child with severe autism, dyspraxia and sensory processing challenges.
* Assist with independence in community activities such as waterplay, beach visits, park and woodland exploration, shopping observations.
* Help foster positive relationships and promote the child's enjoyment and independence.
Requirements
* Prior experience or knowledge working with young people with special educational needs.
* Car driving experience preferred, with business class insurance.
* Availability of up to 10 hours per week, including weekends and school holidays.
Compensation
£13 per hour.
Employment Details
Private arrangement with the family, not an employee of Cornwall Council.
Enhanced DBS check will be undertaken by Cornwall Council.
