Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in Azure AD, Office 365, and Active Directory environments. You will be a key technical escalation point for troubleshooting complex issues and driving the delivery of world‑class, user‑focused digital services.
Responsibilities
* Work with modern end‑user device management systems and Office 365 admin centres.
* Design, plan and implement innovative service changes across digital and legacy platforms.
* Create and maintain detailed documentation for various audiences and present information to stakeholders.
* Define internal and external operational processes and resolve escalated customer problems.
* Diagnose and resolve complex issues, engaging with third parties/vendors when needed, and proactively analyse trends to improve service.
Required Experience & Technical Skills
* Proven experience with Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.
* Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM).
* Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Autopilot and Defender for Endpoint.
* Experience influencing decisions and working with internal and external stakeholders.
* IT Infrastructure, Information Security and Testing awareness (per Government Digital અને Data Profession Capability Framework).
Working Hours & Hybrid
Full‑time role – 37 hours per week. Minimum 30 hours per week required. Hybrid working is a non‑contractual arrangement; at least 60% of the working time is expected at a designated workplace or office location. Occasional travel to the Birmingham office may be required.
