Job Purpose
To provide a quality service to customers on all parts of their journey through the airport including; check-in, boarding, special services, baggage services, and in our Lounge in line with company standards. Ensure all operational processes are completed within specified time frames.

As Our Newest Airport Services Agent, You Will
Identify and meet the standard and special service requirements of the customers at check-in, transfer desk, lounge, special services and boarding gates by adhering to the set service standards and procedures.

Adhere to the internal operating boarding procedures by ensuring that laid down boarding priorities, announcements, hand baggage removal, regular staff briefing and stationary/equipment availability before the flight. Post flight duties include ensure reconciling all flight administration requirements in order to assist the smooth process of a safe and on time departure of flights, whilst meeting all safety and service requirements.

Support your colleagues to ensure that outstanding customer service levels are upheld and assist the process of ensuring the safe and and on time departure of our flights.

Liaise and monitor the Emirates Chauffeur drive company on arrival and departure. Ensure eligible customers are provided with this service on arrival and any customers that require assistance are met on departure.

Oversee the arrival of bags into the arrivals hall, ensuring priority bags are first on the carousel and assist customers with missing or damaged bags referring them to Emirates GHA to complete the necessary paperwork. Follow up on missing bags for premium customers keeping them fully informed.

Assist with the preparation and completion of pre and post flight documentation and complete all relevant station statistical information and reports. Ensure all safety instructions are complied with at all times and report any damage to company property or aircraft.

Support the Supervisor in ensuring that all services providers are fully briefed on the day of operation, sharing any information as appropriate to support seamless customer service.

When rostered, support duties in the Emirates Lounge. Liaise with service providers and supervise contracted staff, overseeing catering, cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure agreed service standards are met.

Qualification

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
You must have the legal right to live and work in the UK. Emirates is unable to provide support with sponsorship.

Be able to provide a full five year work history in order to obtain an airport ID, including completing a DBS check.

Live within 60 minutes of London Gatwick Airport and be willing to work on a shift pattern.

Be fluent in spoken and written English.

Are Ideal Candidate Will Also
Have at least one years airport experience

Speak other languages

Salary & benefits

You can expect a basic salary of GBP 28,500 per annum with allowances and shift pay on top you can expect your first years reward to be around GBP33,900
