Park Holidays UK is seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef, you will play a key role in preparing high-quality meals that meet our guests' expectations while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations, ensuring proper handling, storage, and preparation of all ingredients.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and refine menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet the highest standards of quality, both in terms of taste and presentation.
Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen area, ensuring all workstations are clean and well-stocked.
Work closely with other kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to kitchen assistants and other team members.
Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies, checking deliveries, and ensuring proper stock rotation.
Monitor food costs and minimize waste through efficient use of ingredients and careful portion control.
Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
In-depth understanding of food safety practices and procedures, including HACCP and other relevant regulations.
High level of attention to detail, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish prepared.
Willingness to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
