Science Teacher
Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Science Teacher to join a Secondary School in Oldham to work on a long-term basis starting in September!
You’ll be joining a modern, supportive school community focused on giving every student the tools to thrive.
This is an exciting role for a new or experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
1. Delivering engaging, high-quality Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
2. Promoting inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom
3. Supporting pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual learning needs
4. Working with the department to plan, evaluate, and adjust practical and theoretical lessons
Essential Qualifications:
5. Must hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent valid UK teaching certification
6. Must have recent and relevant experience teaching Science in a UK secondary education setting
7. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to safely manage practical lab work
8. Must hold a valid enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to process a new one
