Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Manager, the Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of multiple commercial, retail and industrial electrical projects for values between £10,000 and £750,000.
The primary role of the Electrical Project Manager will be ensuring that the allocated projects are run efficiently and profitably ensuring full compliance to Health & Safety legislation and contract conditions. The most critical conditions being that all work is completed to a high standard, in a safe working manner, within programme and to the total satisfaction of our client.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
? All aspects associated with the role of a qualified (NVQ City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installations or equivalent) electrical engineer with proven experience of estimating.
? Estimating/tendering and submitting pricing documents.
? Overseeing, managing and training of office based and on site personnel.
? Understanding of the contract design and construction drawings.
? Relay/discuss relevant information with the client, their agent or on-site personnel.
? Managing specialist commercial and industrial nominated sub-contractors.
? Enforcing and monitoring Health & Safety practices and CDM Regulations on site.
