Job Title: SAP Ariba Specialist Location: Fully Remote (UK-based)
Salary: £53,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Overview:
A well-established global organisation in the energy sector is seeking a SAP Ariba Specialist to join its IT SAP support function. As the business undertakes a major transition from ECC to S/4HANA, this role is critical in optimising SAP Ariba functionality and improving the Source-to-Contract experience across international operations. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while working as part of a collaborative global SAP team.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and enhance SAP Ariba modules, with a focus on:
Ariba Sourcing
Ariba Contracts
Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Performance
Work closely with IT, Supply Chain stakeholders, and third-party providers to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Promote standardised SAP support processes and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
Prioritise and deliver change requests and support issues across SAP Ariba modules.
Manage testing for all configuration changes and ensure effective implementation.
Engage with user communities across regions including the UK, Europe, Americas, and Asia-Pacific.
Ensure compliance with SAP architecture and security standards. Experience and Skills Required:
Proven experience in a SAP IT support environment.
Strong technical and functional understanding of Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, and Supplier Lifecycle modules.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across global teams.
SAP Ariba certifications and knowledge of SAP technical architecture are beneficial but not essential. Benefits:
