Job Description
The opportunityAs part of the Engineering Department and reporting to the Chief Engineer you will be tasked with ensuring the on-going availability of the plant, machinery and equipment and with fulfilling the Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules.You will be a time served engineer with an electrical bias and will be expected to work on both electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic breakdowns and repairs. A background within a manufacturing environment would be preferable.80/20 split mechanical/ElectricalElectrical equipment mostly Siemens, Servo Drives, Servo Motors, AC/DC UnitsYou will be required to work as part of a team and on your own and possess good communication skills.Overtime will be required to cover holidays and absence within the department and at weekends for preventative maintenance tasks.Hours of work average 39hours and 40minutes per week over a three shift continuous rotation,Night Shift, 10pm to 6am Sunday Night to Thursday NightEarly Shift, 6am to 2pm Monday to FridayBack Shift, 2pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday, 2pm to 7pm on FridayBenefitsYearly salary of 38.6kHealth care schemeGroup personal pension scheme23 days holidays plus 10 fixed days.TPBN1_UKTJ
