We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer for a company that has been providing complex Control Systems for Process Control, Automation and Telemetry to customers worldwide for more than 35 years.
With the core skills lying in LV Assemblies, Electrical installation, PLC, SCADA, HMI, MIS,MES, RTU, control system software engineering, data acquisition and bespoke software, the company's expertise in panel building and electrical installation allows them to offer a partial or more complete package when required.

£40,000 depending on experience
Hours
Full time position: Hours 08:30 - 17:15 - Monday to Thursday and until 4pm on Fridays
Role Responsibilities
An Electrical Engineer is required to work within a team of experienced electrical & software engineers, and on occasion, it will be necessary to work alone, whilst ensuring health & safety, environmental, technical compliance and quality of work is adhered to throughout the project life cycle.
1. Site surveys
2. Design creation
3. Generating & updating supporting documents
4. Testing & some commissioning
5. Legislation, compliance & specification have been met
6. Candidates will have an industrial electrical background
7. A good working knowledge of electrical standards
8. Can read technical drawings & documentation
9. Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years practical installation experience.
Although of the main responsibilities will be predominantly electrically biased, there will be elements of PLC programming that is inclusive of the role.
Desirable Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge
10. Electrical qualifications C&G level 3, BTEC, NVQ3, ONC or HNC/HND, and 18th Edition
11. Electrical inspection and testing certification (C&G 2391 or equivalent)
12. Proven experience in industrial electrical installations or maintenance background; including motors, controls and 3 phase systems
13. Experience in control panel design & assembly would be advantageous
14. Electrical design including ePlan/AutoCad or equivalent would be advantageous
15. Knowledge or experience with PLC's such as Mitsubishi, Rockwell or Siemens
16. Knowledge or experience of telemetry outstations and/or ADSL / 3G / 4G routers
17. Good verbal and written communication
18. Must be eligible to work in the UK
19. Clean UK Driving License
