Key Responsibilities
* Create visually engaging, social-first graphic content for our clients and partners.
* Create motion assets, including animated social posts, graphic-led long-form video and paid ad creative.
* Oversee internal and external briefing processes to ensure clear briefs, efficient feedback loops and polished delivery.
* Contribute to and evolve the Shaka Social brand identity, maintaining design consistency across all internal and external touchpoints.
* Proactively bring new ideas to the table.
* Ensure assets are optimised for different social media platforms.
* Take ownership of file management, ensuring design files, templates and assets are organised.
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in graphic and motion design (agency or freelance experience with agencies preferred).
* A strong portfolio showcasing design and motion work for social media, from static assets to animated/motion campaigns. Your involvement in the campaign must also be specified clearly.
* You're highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite + have experience with Canva.
* Excellent visual storytelling skills with a sharp eye for detail, layout, typography, and pacing.
* Strong understanding of design for social media, including trends, technical specs, and best practices.
* You have strong communication skills and can effectively share ideas to both creatives and non-creatives.
* You work well in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines/projects.
* Excellent people skills, with the ability to work well with others.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
