Due to a gap in the site, the business is now seeking an experienced Manufacturing & Engineering Operations manager to join their senior leadership team. This hire will be responsible for the overall day-day manufacturing operations, whilst working with the engineering team to help improve safety, quality and running efficiency. 1. Plan, lead and manage day-day manufacturing operations, meeting production, quality, engineering & safety targets.
2. Collaborate with multiple areas of the business, including quality, supply chain, HSE and more to roadmap improvement plans aligned to business objectives.
3. Create and monitor key performance indicators – working on continuous improvement methods.
4. Manage and mentor manufacturing, engineering and supporting technical staff
5. Work with finance teams to develop and manage department budgets working towards capital expenditure plans.
6. Drive a continuous mindset culture throughout the business

7. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or similar industry
8. Multiple years of experience in manufacturing and/or engineering management and operations role(s)
9. Proven experience leading a production or engineering team with multiple direct reports
10. Strong leadership,munication and problem-solving skills
11. Ability to manage tasks and duties effectively.
12. Lean Six Sigma certification would be highly desirable.
