This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about delivering high-quality ICT support to staff and students, and who is keen to play a key role in supporting teaching, learning, and the wider life of the school. The Role The successful candidate will provide first-line ICT support across the school, including: Supporting staff and students with hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner Maintaining and deploying ICT equipment including desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices Managing user accounts and supporting systems within a Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environment Supporting classroom technology and assisting with the setup and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment Providing ICT support for assemblies, presentations and school events, including AV and online platforms (e.g. Microsoft Teams) Logging and managing support requests via the helpdesk system Have oversight of systems procured by school Assisting with stock control, including ordering consumables such as printer toners and confirming receipt of goods The successful appointee should possess: Essential: GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent) Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively A logical and analytical approach to problem-solving Ability to work both independently and as part of a team A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people Desirable: Experience of working in a school or educational setting.
