Band 3 Rotational Senior Pharmacy Assistant
The Inpatient Pharmacy at the Royal Berkshire Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant/Dispenser to join our pharmacy team.
Candidates must possess or be working towards an NVQ Level 2 qualification, or show willingness to complete training.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills in many aspects of the Pharmacy service, from dispensing specialised medicines, liaising with a range of different healthcare professionals and assisting in the supply of Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS).
Main duties of the job
Undertake duties on a rotational basis across Pharmacy Stores and the multidisciplinary Dispensary teams.
Perform a range of tasks to assist and support the provision of a variety of Pharmacy services.
Qualifications
* GCSEs at grade A* - C (4-9) (or equivalent) in Maths, English Language and 2 Science subjects
* NVQ and BTEC Level 2 in Pharmacy Services OR willing to work towards qualification
Experience
* Experience of working in customer‑facing and/or service user sectors
* Experience in pharmacy, hospital or community settings
* Experience using the CMM computer system
* Dispensing experience including Monitored Dosage System (MDS) trays
