Cover Supervisor – Secondary School – Ledbury

Salary: £115-125 per day

A welcoming secondary school in Ledbury is looking for a Cover Supervisor to join their team and provide reliable support when teaching staff are absent. This is a great opportunity for aspiring teachers, graduates, or experienced support staff looking for a dynamic and rewarding role in education.
Supervising classes during short-term teacher absences
Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students stay on task
Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a calm, productive environment
Providing feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and behaviour
Supporting students where possible and acting as a positive role model
Experience working with young people (schools, coaching, tutoring, youth work, etc.)
Strong classroom presence and confidence in managing behaviour
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
EWC registration (support provided if needed)
£89.38 per day, paid weekly through PAYE
