The Role
As Senior Product Manager, you’ll act as the “CEO of the product”, taking full ownership of a defined product portfolio. You’ll set the product vision, define strategy, and lead products through their full lifecycle — from discovery and business case through to launch, optimisation, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
* Define product vision, strategic objectives, and annual plans
* Own and maintain a live product roadmap
* Lead market discovery, customer engagement, and competitive analysis
* Build robust business cases and lead new product development through to launch
* Develop clear value propositions, USPs, and value-based pricing strategies
* Monitor product performance, margins, and profitability, driving corrective actions where needed
* Work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver agreed product and pricing strategies
* Support marketing with technical and commercial product content
* Deliver product training to internal teams and customers
* Review and approve engineering change requests, considering cost, compliance, and market impact
You’ll likely bring:
* 5+ years’ experience in Product Management, Engineering, or a customer-facing technical role
* Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and go-to-market strategy
* Experience working within manufacturing or technically complex products
* A commercial mindset, including pricing, margins, and profitability
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Degree-level qualification (Master’s preferred, or equivalent industry experience)
* Willingness to travel occasionally
Experience within building services, construction products, or regulated manufacturing environments would be highly advantageous.
