The Door Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This position involves overseeing the entry and exit points of a venue, ensuring compliance with licensing laws, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills and the ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
You will report into the Operations team. Minimum 2 years experience in bars or nightclubs as a front line Door Supervisor or Security Officer.
You will need to have a full 5-year checkable employment history for BS7858 vetting.
Responsibilities
* Monitor the entrance and exit of guests to ensure safety and security within the venue.
* Enforce venue policies and regulations, including age restrictions and acceptable behaviour standards.
* Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required, maintaining professional communication at all times.
* Preparing detailed and accurate reports.
* Removing disruptive or unauthorized individuals from the premises.
* Shifts : 8 hours any day between Monday and Sunday.
Skills
Essential : SIA Door Supervisor License
* Strong interpersonal skills, capable of interacting positively with diverse groups of people.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure, demonstrating effective conflict resolution skills.
* Excellent observational skills, with a keen eye for detail to identify potential issues before they escalate.
