Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with a variety of special educational needs. Assist teachers in delivering creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning goals. Encourage pupils’ independence, confidence, and social interaction through positive reinforcement and consistent care. Support pupils with emotional regulation, daily routines, and sensory needs. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents/carers to ensure every pupil achieves their best possible outcomes. Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews and progress reports where required. About You A recent graduate (any discipline considered – Psychology, Education, or related subjects advantageous). A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs. A calm, patient, and empathetic approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn. An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
