The Opportunity Cochlear has an opportunity for a Financial Planning Analyst based in our Addlestone offices. In this role, the successful Analyst will be responsible for Business Partnering with selected Functions by providing pro-active, insightful, high-quality analysis to support decision making and by supporting the annual budget / forecast process, track and report on performance relative to budget / forecast on a rolling basis. Key partner for EMEA FP&A Team for enforcing IBP timetable and deliverables, managing EMEA Risk and Opportunity process and Capex forecasting process, working closely with EMEA wide stakeholders. Responsibilities include: Build financial review processes by working with senior stakeholders, and coordinate and facilitate monthly review calls, Work with multiple stakeholders throughout the business and provide robust analysis and insights for better decision making, Working closely with Country Finance Managers, FP&A team, Demand Planning and Product Management Teams to meet the required standards and deadlines essential in the IBP process Collect, summarise, present, and manage EMEA Risks & Opportunities on a monthly basis, as a part of IBP process What makes this opportunity unique? To add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: Essential Proven Financial expertise backed up with min of 10 years of work experience in a similar position with a commercial mindset, Microsoft Excel to advanced standard, Excellent business partnering, communication, coordination and presentation skills, Self-starter, able to work independently with some guidance, Flexible approach with "can do" attitude / ability to quickly learn and adapt in a changing work environment. Desired Skills Ability to influence decision-making process Ability to translate complex data sets into simple insights for non-Finance stakeholders, Working knowledge of analysis database (Hyperion/Essbase or similar), CIMA or equivalent certification / university degree in relevant field.
