Senior Structural Engineer

Salary: up to £55,000

Senior Structural Engineer Job Requirements
* To use a range of software to develop detailed structural designs as well as hand calculations.
* Undertaking of technical and feasibility studies including organising site investigations.
* Manage and oversee a variety of projects from feasibility through to completion, including site inspections and reporting.
* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and design professionals to ensure successful projects
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. CDM 2015, planning approvals, listed buildings)
* Monitor budgets, resources, and contractor performance to meet project deadlines and standards.
* Support business development by promoting the consultancy’s services and maintaining strong client relationships.
Senior Structural Engineer Salary & Benefits
* Structural Engineering MEng or equivalent.
* Solid experience in a consultancy setting, with a broad understanding of engineering, surveying, architecture, and planning practices.
* Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, technical guidance, and current legislation.
* Proven ability to manage complex projects delivering on time and within budget.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills, supported by excellent IT proficiency.
* A methodical thinker with a proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
