Territory: North East England (Yorkshire, Durham & Northumberland)
Inizio Engage is delighted to be partnering with a leading pharmaceutical client to recruit a Key Account Manager with expertise in haem-oncology, covering the North East. This is a standout opportunity for a highly driven and strategic sales professional to join a high‑performing team with a market‑leading oncology product and a robust pipeline.
We are looking for someone who is not only experienced in managing key accounts, but also passionate about oncology and making a tangible difference in the lives of patients. If you're a self‑starter with strong existing customer relationships and the ability to hit the ground running—this role could be for you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive usage of promoted products to achieve and exceed sales, market share, and profitability targets across the territory.
* Develop and execute robust account plans tailored to the needs of each customer and aligned with business objectives.
* Quickly establish strong, trust‑based relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a valued partner to support optimal patient outcomes.
* Collaborate effectively with internal teams and cross‑functional stakeholders to implement account strategies and overcome access barriers.
* Maintain deep knowledge of the local NHS environment, hospital procurement processes, and regional dynamics affecting haem‑oncology.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven senior Key Account Management experience within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with exposure to haematology or oncology.
* A strong track record of delivering sales success and driving business growth through account‑based strategies.
* Deep understanding of the NHS structure, hospital procurement, and access pathways.
* Ability to build relationships quickly, with both new and existing customers, and leverage these to drive activity and outcomes.
* A self‑motivated, results‑focused mindset, with the capability to work autonomously and make an immediate impact.
* A genuine passion for oncology and a desire to make a meaningful difference in line with our client’s mission to improve patient lives.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercial professional who thrives on building lasting relationships and is energised by the opportunity to make a real impact in haem‑oncology.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
