Project Officer
Base office location may vary depending on the suitable candidate - balance of home and office working.
Salary: £32,244 - £33,941 per year
Hours: 35 hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the management and implementation of projects across Affordable Housing and Property Services. This role is within the Business Change and Transformation Team in the Affordable Housing Directorate, which provides a range of affordable homes and support services in England and Scotland.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Supporting development and delivery of programmes and projects.
2. Providing effective support in managing projects, including collation, reporting, and publishing relevant information, and identifying risks and shortfalls.
3. Ensuring all projects comply with legislative and regulatory requirements.
4. Organising meetings and workshops, including taking minutes, preparing papers, and maintaining records.
5. Contributing to project progress reports and feedback for stakeholders.
6. Managing relationships with stakeholders, customers, and contractors, and addressing service delivery issues and complaints.
7. Monitoring project budgets and expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
8. Maintaining accurate manual and digital records in accordance with policies.
9. Supporting special programmes and projects aligned with the Group's values and objectives.
Skills and Experience:
1. Recent experience in a similar role.
2. Some experience working within a housing environment.
3. Experience in coordinating meetings and events.
4. Ability to analyze and diagnose problems.
5. Proven ability to work to deadlines and prioritize tasks.
6. Experience with project management methodologies.
7. Experience in producing and analyzing statistical information.
