Job Overview:
We are looking for dedicated and physically fit Warehouse Operatives to join our night shift team at a fast-paced parcel distribution centre. This role involves loading and unloading parcels during the early morning hours to support the overnight and early dispatch operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Load and unload parcels from vans and lorries efficiently and safely.
* Sort parcels based on delivery routes and destinations.
* Use scanners and other equipment to log parcel movements.
* Handle parcels with care to avoid damage.
* Work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
* Maintain health and safety standards at all times.
Requirements:
* Physically capable of handling parcels weighing up to 25kg.
* Comfortable working night hours in a physically active role.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
* Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is desirable but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic.
