Description
Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and best practices.
Support recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, coordinating interviews, and onboarding new staff.
Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring compliance with employment law.
Assist with the implementation of HR policies and initiatives that align with business objectives.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
Contribute to the development and delivery of training programmes for staff and managers.
Analyse HR data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations to improve organisational performance.
Support the Human Resources team with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as needed.Profile
A successful HR Advisor should have:
Provide proactive, day‑to‑day HR advice and coaching to line managers across the full employee lifecycle
Advise on employee relations matters including performance, capability, absence, disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and redeployment
Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures and employment law, escalating complex or high‑risk issues when required
Support leaders to effectively manage workforce planning, retention, engagement and organisational capability
Deliver operational HR activity aligned to organisational priorities, legal requirements and best practice
Develop, implement and maintain HR systems, tools, processes and reporting mechanisms
Produce and analyse people data and management information to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
Lead or contribute to HR projects and change initiatives, including policy development and implementation
Work collaboratively with recruitment, learning & development and wider People Services teams to deliver integrated solutions
