Main duties of the job
You’ll be supporting a lady in her 40s who due to Conelia de Lange syndrome requires support with complex needs such as communication issues, partial sight, challenging behaviour and learning disability. We're looking for someone with experience in complex care and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy. She lives in her own property with 24/7 support from her care team, enjoys being active and likes to be out and about in big open spaces alongside sensory activities. Your role will be to support her physically and emotionally, helping her live life to the fullest.

Hours
Hours: 24 hours per week across a two week rota, Tuesday & Friday week one and Saturday & Sunday week two (Days 08:00-20:00 and waking nights 20:00-08:00)

Due to the client's needs, we’re seeking a female support worker who is active, patient, and has a sense of fun and who can support our client to access her local community, maintain good health, and make positive progress in engaging with activities.

* Provide emotional support and companionship
* Maintain accurate care records and report any changes
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
