Role Description
This is a full-time role, covering maternity leave starting in April/May. The Dispensary Assistant will be responsible for the preparation and dispensing of medications, maintaining accurate records, organizing inventory, and ensuring proper storage of veterinary supplies. Additional duties may include supporting the team with administrative tasks, reception, providing customer service to pet owners, and promoting the services of Moorgate Veterinary Group.
Qualifications
* Basic knowledge of veterinary medicines and dispensing procedures
* Strong organizational, inventory management, and record-keeping skills
* Proficiency in customer service, communication, and teamwork
* Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately and efficiently
* Experience working in a vets, pharmacy, or healthcare setting is advantageous
* A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for animal care
