Conveyancing Support Lawyer- REMOTE Salary: £35,000-£43,000pa Benefits: Private Health Care, Bonus Scheme, Remote Working and more THIS ROLE WILL NOT BE FEE-EARNING- this role is suitable for an individual who has been fee-earning for several years, who is very familiar with the Conveyancing process; however would like to take a step back from the high intensity of targets. We seek a diligent and highly competent Conveyancing Lawyer to join our legal team in a fully remote capacity. This essential support role is focused on the successful and efficient completion of conveyancing transactions and providing necessary backup to fee earners across the firm. Purpose of the Role: To undertake critical conveyancing legal work to support fee earners and ensure the successful development of the firm's conveyancing department in line with the business plan. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following core tasks: Demonstrating a high degree of competence in managing all aspects of Freehold and Leasehold conveyancing matters. Conducting all legal aspects of a conveyancing transaction, including: Thoroughly checking legal title documents. Raising and resolving pre-contract enquiries. Effectively dealing with enquiries raised by opposing solicitors. Reporting clearly to clients on contract terms, leases, and reviewing Managing Agents' sales packs. Minimizing risk and ensuring strict adherence to the firm’s risk and file management procedures at all times. Providing crucial assistance and coverage to other fee earners during periods of absence (e.g., holiday or sick leave). Complying with the SRA's competency framework and the firm’s training policy by undertaking suitable Continuous Professional Development (CPD). Qualifications & Skills: Completion of a legal degree and the LPC or equivalent technical conveyancing qualification. Proven ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while integrating seamlessly with the team. Strong IT skills and comfortable operating established case management systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for client and solicitor interaction. Ability to demonstrate a strong willingness and drive to learn, succeed, and adapt within a busy remote practice.
