Floor Housekeeper (Housekeeping Supervisor)

Are you someone who takes pride in high standards and loves leading by example? We're looking for a Floor Housekeeper to help ensure our hotel delivers an outstanding experience for every guest, every time.
This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, organisation, and team support come together. You'll play a key part in keeping our rooms and public areas looking their best, while guiding and supporting the housekeeping team to succeed.
What you'll be doing
* Ensuring all guest rooms meet our high standards before they're ready to welcome guests
* Preparing daily work schedules to help the team run smoothly and efficiently
* Checking public areas to maintain a consistently clean and welcoming environment
* Supporting stock management, ensuring housekeeping supplies are well organised and available
* Training and guiding team members on best practices and use of equipment
* Supporting ordering and stock control within housekeeping stores
* Keeping housekeeping records and documentation accurate and up to date
* Assisting in the linen room when needed
* Managing key distribution securely and responsibly
* Handling lost property queries with care and professionalism
* Stepping up to lead the team in the absence of the Head or Deputy Head Housekeeper
* Working closely with Reception to ensure guest needs are met seamlessly
* Reporting maintenance issues promptly to keep our facilities at their best
* Creating a personal touch by recognising and engaging with guests whenever possible
* Supporting guest queries and ensuring they feel welcomed and cared for
* Attending training sessions and team meetings to stay sharp and informed
