We’re now looking for an exceptional Brand Manager to own and shape our brand marketing strategy — driving awareness, consideration, loyalty and, ultimately, growth across our c.90-store estate and digital channel.
The Opportunity: As Brand Manager, you’ll be the guardian and owner of the Ernest Jones brand. You’ll develop and deliver a cohesive, insight-led brand marketing strategy that brings our brand to life at every customer touchpoint — from in-store to online, from social to PR, from partnerships to product launch.
This is a highly visible role, working cross-functionally with senior stakeholders across Buying & Merchandising, Trading & Digital, CRM, Store Operations and beyond. You’ll balance long-term strategic brand building with the agility required to deliver in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll also lead and develop a small, high-performing team and, when required, deputise for the Head of Brand Marketing.
What You’ll Do
* Own and deliver a commercially evaluated, integrated brand marketing strategy aligned to business goals.
* Ensure customer insight, data and commercial objectives sit at the heart of all brand activity.
* Develop and deliver an annual omni-channel brand marketing plan spanning in-store POS and experiences, advertising, media and press, organic and paid social, partnerships, PR, launches and events.
* Build clear marketing calendars, critical paths and internal communications plans.
* Define KPIs and ROI frameworks to measure success and optimise future activity.
Be the Connector
* Act as the key point of contact for brand marketing across the business.
* Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams, agencies and suppliers.
* Lead regular stakeholder meetings and influence senior decision-making.
Becoming Insight Driven
* Lead a programme of customer insight and research to deepen understanding of behaviours, motivations and brand perception.
* Monitor competitor activity and retail marketing trends to proactively inform strategy.
* Lead and develop a small team responsible for brand and social media activity.
* Maximise engagement, performance and efficient use of resources.
Own the Numbers
* Plan and manage the brand marketing budget with a strong ROI mindset.
* Track spend vs budget, manage POs and invoices, and flag risks or opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
* You’re a strategic brand marketer who loves blending creativity with commercial impact.
* You’re confident influencing senior stakeholders, comfortable with complexity, and energized by fast-moving retail.
* Proven experience developing and delivering omni-channel brand marketing strategies (fashion or premium retail preferred).
* Strong understanding of digital and social media, with the ability to think strategically while reacting tactically when priorities shift.
* A track record of delivering creative, insight-led campaigns.
* Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence at senior level.
* Strong analytical capability, able to turn data into actionable insight.
