My well established Manufacturing client based in Dudley are looking for a Service Controller to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.
Duties: -
* Be first point of contact for customers, receiving and communicating information as required, ensuring high level of customer satisfaction.
* Manage and monitor performance of Engineers to ensure jobs are being progressed and ensure all objectives are being met.
* Provide 1st line support on decision making including service response and commercial issues raised by engineers and customers.
* To monitor and progress all breakdown jobs and routine service requirements of each customer’s fleet.
* Progressing all jobs through to closure/invoice.
* Communicate with Engineers and Sub-contractors, monitoring their attendance and progress with jobs.
* To be responsible for entering all required fleet management, and job relevant information onto system.
* Entering job requirements onto system and schedule Engineers on planner board.
* Update system to ensure progress of jobs relating to service jobs including time sheets, parts information and purchase orders.
* Assist as required processing the administration of spare parts requirements.
* Requesting Purchase Order references where required.
* Completing and invoicing of jobs.
Key Skills:-
* Essential you have worked within service coordination / scheduling previously.
* Ability to manage workload under pressure ensuring service department is supported.
* Energetic and motivated team player.
* Good IT skills - Excel, Word, Power point, Protean skills (Training will be available).
* Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask
