Job Description
Are you an existing or aspiring Teacher of Economics or Accounting? Do you hold a business or economics degree or an equivalent professional accountancy qualification? Do you want to have a direct impact on the career prospects of young adults? Then this could be the role for you.
Due to increased student numbers we are looking to recruit an additional part-time Lecturer to join our A Level team. This is a rare opportunity to work as part of both our esteemed Business and A Level teams providing high quality teaching and learning opportunities to our students. Never taught before? That’s fine! Your passion, drive to succeed and ability to motivate our learners is key. You must hold at least a degree in Business or Economics or an equivalent accountancy qualification. You will be given support by our internal team, The Learning Practice, who work with all of our curriculum staff to ensure that you have the tools and resources you need to succeed. We will also support you to obtain your teaching qualifications.
We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Business and A Levels team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching to A Level students in Accountancy and Economics.
* Work as part of the Business and A Level teams providing teaching and learning opportunities.
* Support students and provide motivation to fulfil their learning objectives.
* Use the tools and resources provided by The Learning Practice to enhance teaching delivery.
* Obtain and maintain the necessary teaching qualifications.
Qualifications
* Degree in Business or Economics or an equivalent accountancy qualification.
* A passion for teaching and the ability to motivate learners.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
