Summary of position:

As Print Supervisor, your responsibilities will include overseeing print and finishing production within Medi-Clear, operating all printing and finishing equipment as needed. You'll be accountable for planning production, guiding, and coaching the team to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and Health & Safety standards. This includes ensuring all staff are trained in company policies, procedures, and production processes. You'll also maintain equipment to prevent contamination, perform risk assessments, and manage raw material orders as delegated.
More about your responsibilities:
* Production Leadership & Planning: Lead print and finishing operations, plan production schedules.
* Quality & Compliance: Monitor factory personnel to ensure full compliance with the Quality Management system and company Health & Safety requirements.
* Training & Development: Ensure all staff are effectively trained in company policies, procedures, and specific production processes.
* Equipment & Contamination Control: Maintain all printing and finishing equipment, with a focus on preventing product contamination.
* Risk & Safety Management: Conduct risk assessments and ensure all working practices comply with Health & Safety standards.
* Materials & Stock Management: Order raw materials as delegated, and manage stock of inks, plates, and tapes to support production needs.
* Pre-Press & Process Flow: Plan production and pre-press activities, including process flow, ink and anilox management, and manpower allocation.
What you'll bring:
* 5+ years of experience in flexographic printing and finishing
* Proven leadership and people management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities
* Attention to detail in print quality and team output inspection
* Experience in stock management (inks, plates, tapes)
* Ability to work well under pressure and manage a high volume of work flexibly
