Legionella Risk Assessor Responsibilities
Carry out legionella risk assessments manually and electronically.
Ensure that risk assessment paperwork and reports are completed correctly and returned.
Perform other operational work as required to meet contractual commitments.
Undertake assessments in accordance with:
* Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 (Fourth edition)
* Technical guidance documents of HSG274
* British Standard code of practice for risk assessing BS8580-1 2019
* Health Technical Memorandum 04-01: SafeWater in Healthcare Premises
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
* A qualification in a City and Guilds Risk Assessing course (or equivalent).
* Experience in legionella risk assessing.
* Wide knowledge of the above risk assessment guidelines.
* Sufficient experience working in the water treatment industry.
* A strong knowledge of health and safety.
* Commercial awareness and good planning skills.
* Strong IT literacy and ability to use a PDA to evidence compliance and productivity.
* Ability to draw schematic diagrams.
* A full UK driver’s licence with less than 6 points.
* Capability to work as part of a team and under own supervision.
